I have been working in Honolulu (Hawai'i) and Paris (France) on a regular basis as a freelance translator since 1980 and as an interpreter since 1989.

I have a graduate degree in Anglo-American Comparative Law from the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (1982).

I attended the University of Hawai'i at Manoa as an unclassified graduate student in 1980-1981 studying Literature, in particular a 600 level class (Stylistics 661 FR, on translation theory) and Philosophy of Law.
